AWF Throwdown takes place - Ric Drasin tears quad

The AWF - American Wrestling Federation had their show called 'THROWDOWN' at Marina High school in Huntington Beach on Friday Nov 16 and drew an excess crowd of 600 people. It was a very successful show and very organized. Also a 7 man film crew , 2 camera came in to shoot a video of the show to be for sale soon. 7 matches and 5 new girls that owner of AWF and NZPWI columnist, Ric Drasin personally trained for the show. They were the highlite of the evening.

Ric said, "I knew I was on to something when I took it upon myself to train 6 Hollywood Actresses to become lady wrestlers. There are not enough of them around and I proved myself right. I'm starting 6 more within a few weeks."

The card consisted of:
The Ballard Brothers vs. The CubanitosSlammer and Jammer
Shane 54-XTC vs.Slammer and Jammer
Primetime Peterson vs. Shane '54'
Cincinatti Red vs. Ric 'The Equalizer' Drasin
Tech 9,Byron Walker vs. Crayz
and the Girl's match - Fire & Ice vs. Fame, Raggedy Ann and Ebony
Princess.

Ric had torn a big section of his quad muscle on his leg during the match but continued another 7 min to give the fans their moneys worth.

"This is the 3rd time I have torn my knees, and at 57 1/2 my wife wants me to quit. I'm not sure I want to, as I don't want to give into the age game, but maybe limit some of the moves. Maybe I'll be down to a 'lock up' and then take it home...."
