Well, a few years ago I spent a good deal of time training new people for wrestling and most of that was women. What I found on just 2 training sessions a week was that these women got in better shape from running the ropes and all the jumping up and down than they would have from joining a gym. Plus they had fun doing it and learned how to defend themselves and get to know their mind and body control as well.

I totally believe that working out in the ring far surpasses any aerobic exercise that you can do. Riding a bike, using the treadmill or stair master. Nothing compares to running the ring ropes and working your body from all angles in the ring. Some of the girls totally reshaped themselves.
