This year 2011 is half way through and Ric's Corner is getting bigger and better now with 2 million viewers. I'm working on getting a network to develop the show even more. The feaure film 'The Wrestler' Micky Rourke has inspired a lot of people to pay more attention to wrestling. I've been getting many calls from Newspapers to do articles and interviews to hear my opinion of the film
Recently I was asksed to be a consultant on a new Pilot called 'Full Nelson' . I was also offered the role of promoter 'Ric Pearl' who is a cut throat promoter. Three of my students landed major roles on this show and the rest worked as extras in and out of the ring. This is a SAG film. (meaning Screen Actor's Guild union). Once the series sells to networks we all go to work steady for at least 6 to 12 episodes. Here's a behind scenes video and some photos from the shoot.
